Nevolat (Liraglutide) Weight Loss Injection
$68.99 – $218.99Price range: $68.99 through $218.99
Nevolat weight loss injection pens (Generic Saxenda) contain the active ingredient liraglutide – a licensed GLP-1 weight-loss treatment.
Saxenda itself has been discontinued and has now been replaced with a branded-generic called Nevolat.
Initiation with Liraglutide is 1 month, or 3 PENS as it takes around a month to see any noticeable benefit.
Taking Nevolat daily makes you feel less hungry, slows down the movement of food out of the stomach and makes you feel fuller for longer. The effect is a reduced calorie intake, making you, the patient, lose weight.
What is Nevolat (Liraglutide) Weight Loss Injection?
Lose Weight Effectively with Nevolat
Nevolat is a weight loss injection pen that can help adults and children who are overweight or obese. The name of the drug is liraglutide.
This injection may be suitable for you if:
- You’re an adult who has a BMI of over 27 and have weight-related health conditions. These can include high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes and high cholesterol
- You’re an adult who has a BMI of over 30 (Obese)
- Your child is aged from 12-17 and has a weight of over 60kg or 132 pounds (via your GP or Weight Loss services).
Whilst using Saxenda or Nevolat, you will need to consume a reduced-calorie diet and increase your physical activity to maximise results.
How long does one Nevolat Pen last?
Nevolat treatment starts with a low dose, which gradually increases over the first five weeks of treatment. When you first start treatment, your first Nevolat weight loss injection pen should last 17 days.
The usual starting dose is:
- 0.6mg once a day for at least a week
- 1.2mg week 2
- 1.8mg week 3
- 2.4mg week 4 and
- Week 5 onwards, 3.0mg once a day.
- Pen one should last 17 days
- Pen 2 – 8.5 days and
- Pen 3 – 6.5 days
Each subsequent pen should last 6 days.
How many doses are in a Nevolat pen?
How many doses in a Nevolat pen will depend on whether you have just started treatment or if you are partway through your treatment.
As mentioned above, your first pen will last 17 days, meaning there are 17 doses in your first pen. Your second pen will last 8.5 days and 8 doses, and your 3rd pen will have 6 doses for 6.5 days.
When you reach the full dose of 3.0mg per dose, each pen will last 6 days and contain 6 doses.
How many Nevolat Weight Loss Injection Pens should I order for my first month?
Initiation with Nevolat is 1 month, and you will need 3 pens to complete the first month’s treatment. Your first pen will last 17 days, 2nd pen 8.5 days and your 3rd pen will last 6 days – a total of 31.5 days.
Once you have reached the end of month 1 you will need 5 pens per month to continue your weight loss treatment with Nevolat.
What is the Active ingredient in Nevolat, and how does the injection work?
Nevolat contains the active ingredient liraglutide, which is very similar to a naturally occurring hormone in your body called GLP-1. This injection makes you feel less hungry, slows down the emptying of your stomach and makes you feel ‘fuller’ for longer. It works by stimulating insulin release and inhibiting glucagon secretion, slowing gastric emptying and increasing satiety after eating.
Wegovy (Semaglutide) is a licensed weight loss treatment also now available in the USA and UK, which works in the same way, although it is a different hormone.
How long do people usually use Nevolat for and how quickly can you notice results?
The common amount of time for the use of Nevolat is a few months until you hit their target weight, and results are usually noticeable after a few weeks of use.
