AQUALYX is also called Motolese’s Solution, named for the professor that introduced the drug. It is made of a unique formula that can break down fat pockets with just a few simple treatments and show visible results within the first 2 sessions. Aqualyx is a compound made from the deoxycholate family of acids. The acid present in Aqualyx is already a naturally occurring acid within the human body that has an essential function to cause fat destruction in the body.

HOW IT WORKS

Aqualyx is a phosphatidylcholine-free solution, it rather contains a weakened variant of sodium deoxycholate that works like a detergent, leading to the destruction of the fat cells once administered. The detergent dissolves the fat by means of emulsification of the adipose cell membrane. PRECAUTIONS

3. Patients who have large volumes of fat (BMI 30 or more) or have unrealistic expectations are not recommended for AQUALYX Fat Dissolving treatment.
4. Patients underlying medical history (e.g., blood-clotting problems, diabetes, liver or kidney diseases, severe autoimmune diseases) must inform the doctor of their condition before the treatment.
5. Inform the doctor if you have any allergy to the product’s ingredients to avoid dangerous side effects.

AFTERCARE GUIDE

1. After the procedure, swelling and redness may occur (but will eventually fade away), thus heparin ointment or ice packs placed over the treatment area after the procedure is recommended.
2. Do not apply any cosmetic onto the treated area within the following 12 hours.
3. Avoid extreme sports and activities for 7 days after treatment.
4. Avoid all direct sources of heat and radiation such as sunbathing, sauna or UV radiation for 2 weeks after treatment.
5. Keep a strict and healthy diet to achieve optimal results.

PACKAGING AND SPECIFICATIONS

AQUALYX Fat Dissolving Solution consists of 10 x 8mL vials in one package.

Preparation: Usually, 2 injection spots are required per region of the target area. A local anesthetic can be added to the solution before administration to improve the patient’s comfort level.

Recommended dosage: Dosage will depend on the target area in the body. For example, fat pockets underneath the neck and chin may require 2 to 3 injections per treatment session, while hips and thighs may require 4 to 8 injections per session.
